Bearings
« on: November 14, 2007, 04:50:48 PM »

Common bearing numbers for the 2.8 1997 LWB (May be the same for other models)

Wheel bearings: LM102910 / 102949
Needle roller bearing: B2012
A/C pulley tensioner bearing: 6301 2RS (I have also used 6301 ZZ which seems to be better) http://stores.ebay.co.uk/E-B-R-Bearing-Supplies

Using these references you can source bearings much cheaper than mitsu, eg: Needle roller is £35 from dealer compared to £5 from bearing specialist. Will add others as and when I order them  Smiley

RS-Rubber Sealed
Z-Single shielded bearing
ZZ OR ZS-Double shielded bearing

Carl, Have you replaced your passenger side needle bearing and are they the same size and code B2012? most that go tend to be the drivers side and not the side that i have!

bummer replaced bearing, and vibration is still there, think its coming from the drivers side, mind you the passenger needle bearing rollers just dropped out totally knackered.
