How to register to use Veggie Oil

pura rapeseed at sainsburys.... 56p ish a litre....

or tesco corn oil (not as good as rapeseed) 49 ppl order up to 99 at a time online, get it delivered, spend a bit more (to go over £50) + get a 5p / litre off fuel voucher + clubcard points too!!!

I have tried to find cheap rapeseed Oil and Costco apparently no longer supply the drums....so...I checked out one of those sites dealing with "GREEN ISSUES" and it seems that the Good old Supermarkets have cottoned on to the Substitute fuel duty free for first 2500 litres.
So bottom line where is the cheapest (rapeseed/corn/vege) Oil? Which Supermarket or Industry supplier, I am not sure about using Waste Vege Oil, read a few bits which put the frighteners on me ....unless you know better....

if u use used oil from your chip shop i am sure you dont have to declare it as it has all ready been used i use in mine a mixture of five gallons of cerrasine and three litres of cooking oil
this takes out the harshness of the cerry we call it kerry gold cost around 55p to 60p litre i have never declared it

its basically same as parrafin there's  garage's all over the country that do it but you have to ask for it they do it five gallon drums.where abouts are you from.cos i have a mate in brum that can sort out a hell of alot of it as long as u got the barrels he will fill them for you. the other way you can do it if you have the room to get a heating oil tank 800 or 1200 litre tank then goto your local oil supplier's and then they will fill it for youwhich is even cheaper about 45 to 55p a litre.800 litres gives you 26 full car tank fulls.tell them you got oil heating then you can have them fill it once a month.or when ever it gets empty.don't forget to put 3 litres of cooking oil in though cos kerry on its own is abbrasive to the engine the oil lubricates it my email is tomadams340@msn.com or phone me on 07788781605

Thank you for contacting the Environment Agency with regards to the collection of bio-diesel.

If you are just using the waste oil in your own private vehicle for your own private use, not using it for commercial reasons and not selling it on (i.e.not part of any business or with a view to profit). Then you do not need to register.


If you are carrying waste as part of your business or for someone else then you would need to register and pay the full fee.
