heard folk getting everything from 18mpg - 33mpg from pajeros......


anyone got true figures, of say, a standard pajero that isnt towing?

mines the swb 2.8 and im keen to know the mpg figures for town, motorway and mixed driving.

every one of them is different depending on how heavy the optional extras are that you have on and the tyres you run etc no one can give an exact mpg like i say its better guageing  your own mpg to be honest.
but i would probably say an average of 25mpg and bonus if its any better

i know the extra mods can sap your juice because of the weight.


does the bigger the tyres you have on cause this too?

im only looking into getting 31'' mud tyres, though i know i will have to adapt with them on.

I get about 15mpg local driving. 35mpg on an 800km round trip driving quite hard

Will see what, if anything, changes after I get mud tyres this weekend

consistenly had 30mpg from our 2.8td manual lwb shoggy. it's done 123,500... so i think that's fairly good for a 2 tonne mobile windbreaker!
