If anyone is changing any blown dash bulbs then the bulb numbers from Halfords are: 286 - for the small ones (which are for the 4wd lights, auto box lights and warning lights etc) 504 - for the larger ones (speedo, rev counter) If you are doing a complete bulb replacement then you will need approx 23 x 286 and 7 x 504 - that's based on a 2.5 TD Auto. A 2.8 TD Auto has a slightly different layout of warning lights, with a couple extra (e.g. glow plug light). Petrol and/or manual may also vary slightly. Hope that helps anyone who needs it

Yes Nick, I meant to suggest replacing any others that look like they're on their way out at the same time. It's not a particularly difficult job but can be a right royal pain in the proverbial having to disconnect/reconnect all the snap connectors at the back of the clocks - all a bit fiddly really! Will be posting step-by-step instructions with photos shortly in case anyone needs an 'idiots' guide

I've just replaced the switch bulbs on mine, the hazard, both fog, pwr and so on, the place to get these from is www.craftyhobbit.co.ukYou will need the 3mm bulbs, you have to strip the switchs, remove the bulb holders, unwind the wires from the bulb/holders, if like mine you have blue lights all ready I found that rubbing the blue covers between your fingers helps remove the covers, refit the new bulb, bending the wires back in place, refit and test, take your time, did all mine in about 2 hours, If like I did, and you muck up some of the covers then try nail varnish to recolour the bulb.
