There's a lot of that in Warrington...   they were nasty and cocky...

I know i'm paraphrasing [and this reply is admittedly a tangent] you but the copper's in Warrington are a bunch of pillocks! 4 days after arriving in the UK, fresh off the plain from Oz and never having been to the country before, I was walking around a corner from my cousin when 2 cop cars and 5 cops cornered me, took all my details and started accusing me and questionning me [on the corner of a street!] about burglery and breaking and entering... when i explained i was from Australia, had been in the country 4 days, said they were welcome to see my passport talk with my family etc... the cocky ba**ards said 'well you don't look or sound australian'... I replied ' you don't look like an idiot...' - I said some stupid things that day out of sheer anger.... needless to say everything was dropped as a case of mistaken identity.... but then as luck would have it 4 days later!... when walking to the bus stop to meet my uncle [who was the bus driver] a chap yelled from across the street 'Is that fire?' Looking at a flat with flames coming out of it I said 'Whadda you reckon?!'... guess which cops turned up to that scene and guess who was there by pure coincidence?! If it wasn't for witness who stood up for me and said it was pure coincidence I was there... it would have been round 2 for me!

Needless to say... given my experience, I haven't been back  to Warrington since 1999 when I arrived in the UK. As I said at the top, my experience of coppers in Warrington leaves a LOT to be desired.

as LONCBT says mate they have been doing this for months here in south wales because there are a few numpties who drive their scrambler bikes/4x4 on footpaths or bridal ways here  Angry you allways see people being caught rideing/driving illegally in the local papers here Afro the trouble is it spoils it for the legitimate offroaders Embarrassed
