Sorry to be lazy and not check the rest of the forum, but can anyone tell me the best setting on the air-con to de-mist the front windows?

Does the 'eco' sign mean that the air con is in economy mode and not on, or it is on?

Does the '*' sign mean the air con is on?

I know, I know I'm being lazy and I should get an English translation of the handbook and search the forum, but it is nearly Christmas!??

I just switch on the aircon to full heat and full fan and watch it disappear so its ready for Tiggsy to go to college

I covered up the screen of our astra convertible last night with bubble wrap.
The outside was completely clear this morning but the inside had a couple of mill of frost throughout. Angry

Paj to the rescue !      Clear in minutes.    Grin

There were a lot of prangs round this way this morning 'cos of divvies driving bad.

Just hit the big button with the dxe-mist sign to right of display, this puts aircon or heating on as required, and direct air to screen

After that push the round knob to set Automatic

If you then press * it cycles compressor On, Eco (which cuts compressor below set point), or off

And yes * in the display means On

Or you could just do what I do and get someone else to go out and warm the truck up for you and de-mist it while you drink yer tea that they made for you! lol  Cheesy

 Undecided  I find that a cool setting clears yer screen better but not as kwik but much less streaks
