Not so 'horny'!!
« on: December 13, 2007, 11:00:48 AM »

Out last night and I had to push my horn in anger for the first time when some gimp in a Saxo pulled out in front of me!

The lights seemed to dim very slightly every time I pressed the horn, but no noise!!

Idea's anyone, could it be a fuse? If it was would the lights still dim? Can anyone tell which fuse it is? Tiny Tim will have to draw me a map of where it is as I seem to have trouble counting...........

Erm, now the honest bit, I'm not much of a mechanic, is the horn in front of the radiator, don't laugh!!

Just had a look and there is what looks like a big shiny new red air horn behind the front grill, no other sign of a horn anywhere??

Guessing this is not the alarm, when I press the horn button there is a clicking noise from the engine bay so I am everything may be working and I think I should try the fuse in the first instance, any idea where it is Tim?

Its not the fuse if the relay is clicking unless there is another inline fuse

Fuse 10 in footwell box

3rd fro right in the middle row
