them lane's are either somewhere else or they are driving illegally i've got the manchester o/s map and there ain't any lane's on it just load's of bridal way's  Roll Eyes

     looks like as you drop down into holmbridge near holmfirth.

    think i recognise the radio mast on the top of holmes moss. had a look on o/s map and there doesn't appear

   to be any green lanes where they were driving up the side of the hills.

i've done all the legal lane's around holmfirth and none of them look like that. Smiley

I know some of the lads who were on that day out.The lanes were all legal at the time Feb 06 but re-classified to bridle ways during the summer.Hope this helps.

thought that might be the case but my o/s map was printed in 2006 but still doesn't show those lane's. Undecided

I don't know the lanes myself but I know the first lane was within a couple of hundred yards of the meeting up point which was on the A672 Ripponden Road just off Junction 22 M62.I would guess they went over towards Littleborough/Oldham, but it's all academic now cos yer can't
drive them now. Embarrassed

it's not that mate i just wanted to check how up to date my o/s map was and it's spot on it show's them as bridleway's. Afro
