Hello I am 26 and not passed my driving test yet, and i have got a 1991 mk2 2.5tdi,

I was worried about the insurance had quotes up to £2900. YES £2900 and a frind told me about ECAR its a oline company.

There is no call centre all done oline. 

Well i got my pollicy fully comp on a provisonal  for a amazing £376.00

And when i pass it will go down to £278.00

Now thats good..

ive just renewed mine with them this yr. im 23, drive a 2.5 LWB £350 Wink

theyre not much good with people who are 21!!!!! they wanted well over a grand for the new shogun and nearly 1200 for the saxo! can insure the saxo for 290 fullycomp!!!!!!! and the new truck is gonna be 511! daren try the Paj with it being an import.....and a convertible...... Shocked

Been quoted £241... less that what my isurence quoter £368.. Q, can you still Tax car if you get short term insurance?  Huh

Short term policy,

Yes you can still tax the car as the policy is valid when you tax the car.
