Are there any ? to get to know what my motor can do! I'm still very green about off roading, but imagine it's great fun! Or are there any events worth taking a wet Saturday/Sunday off work down here? and if it,s both days do i need to bring a tent and beer?

Not quite so limited. Meet at 10 (or earlier if anyone wants?), quick cuppa 'n' bacon sarnie then short drive down to Shere for London Lane etc. Gotta be home for 1.30pm latest so got couple hours for laning - that's about the same amount of time I had on my first outing. Failing that I can take midweek days off in January if that's easier Toolman? And TT is a great instructor if you need any pointers

Still off the road, a barely noticible blown gasket when i bought it which burst a top hose, which sprayed the alternator with conductable anti freeze, which cooked the battery (exploded), which was replaced after hosing down the engine compartment of acid, so the top hose wasn't noticed. After taking home and a short trip out that evening and overheating a temporary heavy duty hose fitted by emergency services, but with no pressure outlet (heavt duty temp top hose) burst the radiator seams. Two new belts fitted as iall they've ever do is screech, and a botom hose check. I'm now having the gasket done, so looks like February. Strange but still a happy bunnny!
