Oil change or not?
« on: January 30, 2008, 12:24:27 PM »

I have just got my Pinin and it has done 23,200 miles.
It last had a service at 18,300 but this was 15 months ago

Service is suggested at every 9,000 or 12 months.
So in the last 15 months it has only done around 5,000 miles

Should I;
A) Get an oil change (Quickfit or somewhere)
B) Get an oil and filter change
C) Get a service (been quoted £120)
D) something else completly different

Give it a service - that price seems fair enough   Afro

well i would look at doing it via national tyres they replace the oil filter and use edge turbo diesel 5w 40w, and would charge £44 all inclusive. get a new air filter yourself (unipart is very cheap) and fit yourself same thing a service would do. as it seems now adays they dont tend to do services like they used to.

I'd do it myself and I'd be absolutely sure that it was done properly Afro
