ive asked this question in somebody elses thread and it made me think.....so wot is the general view on fitting a cone filter to my 3.5,it didnt make much difference to my consumption in my vectra2.0 SRI,but wot about in the paj,cos i love the sound!!

Should make quite a difference to a 3.5 if you pick the right kit

And I'd do it for the sound alone if i was into modding the Evo

i have heard, god knows where...long ago, that is doesn't make any difference but the sound is nice as you say, must not take it off road though with that filter on.

I had a unifilter air filter fitted, spong construction, the type you have to oil, lasted longer but twice the price
