I'm not to much into computer's, sat nav's or PDA's
I have memory map on the computer and it's good.
I would like to get memory map or the landranger maps onto a sta nav type system.
How do I go about it and what would I need to get?

get an MDA III or similar phone. its windows based. it also has an integral gps receiver. i have tom tom on mine and plenty of room for memory map as well. it has superb satelite aquisition. screen is certainly large enough for maps etc. has trackball and mouse facility too, but the touch screen is normally sufficient. i have an HTC touch dual running windows mobile and a separate bluetooth GPS receiver
1GB storage card and it holds tomtom and memory map
i have all the OS maps for memory map at 1:50000landranger and most of the 1:25000explorer and some satellite image maps on the PC and transfer the most likely ones i might need to my phone before going out due to the fact that all the maps take up about 23GB

Mike Agree with this, although I have just got the o2 XDA Orbit 2 which I believe is the same (I am with o2 so this is my network equivalent). Has Windows Mobile 6 and all the other stuff Mike said. Comes with CoPilot Sat Nav included but would take Tom Tom and will run Memory Map aswell

Going the same way as I don't like the N95 and O2 are swapping it for XDA Orbit 2 for me tomorrow. And no charge for satnav on it either - same deal How cool is that ?
