???hi there , i'm thinking of getting 3500 gdi paj can any one what to look out for and the reliability of them , as they look more upmarket than my shoggy , + i wan't to tow a caravan with it. thanks mark

Relaiability is genearally very good. Just make sure cam belt, tensioner, water pump and spark plugs have been changed at 90,000 km or 54,000 miles or budget about £900 for that particular service (plus VAT). Check tappet noise goes away within a couple of minutes of cold start as the hydraulic back lash adjusters fill with oil. Other than that its the usual buyers guide list elsewhere in this section really. Happy hunting

 cheers everyone for that, just got to wait for the wifes compo to come through in the next 2/3 months , so when it do's i'll have a bit of a look for one. thanks mark
