www.sandy-balls.co.ukBrill place to stay, accomadates tents, and vans, and also have log cabins if your feeling flush. Own pool, bar..etc.. loads to do situated on the edge of the forest. Just been nominated for best caravan park (short stay award) 2006 ~ According to the web site!! Have to book early for bank holidays, now fully booked for 2006, plently of other dates available.

nice place. last time i stayed in the new forest, we had to make our own shelters (basha) and had no food for a week. (oh it was in january too  ). Mike

Used to live in Dorset! Sandy Balls do a winter week, when the snow is on the ground for the hardiest campers! They all get a 'Frosty Balls' award!

i done some of my emergency high speed driving around that area , its a great area not that i was doing much sight seeing , kinda difficult when you are throwing a vectra around a series of bends at over 55 mph with a driving insrtuctor sat beside you
