Common Complaints - J-top manual windows
« on: April 22, 2008, 10:49:34 PM »

Do people live with this or replace them with electric ones?

If you have, have you done a write-up?

If so, lets see it !

Thanks

The idea behind the J top is to keep things low tech and therefore waetherproof

If you choose to replace with electric windows I suspect they may give problems rather quickly but should be easy enough to do.

In my tinkering I've seen an unused wiring loom in the center console where window switches would be plus wiring going through into the doors.
You might only need the power mechanism & swicthes.

Checkout this stock J-top on ebay, funnily enough, it has factory fitted electric windows !

That could be cos the Australian spec is quite different to the Japan home market models that we normally see   Wink

I've come to the conclusion that no 2 Pajero's are the same!

"   RARE FIND Mitsubishi Pajero SWB Soft top with sunroof Private import in 2000  "

It's on the Aussie ebay, and is a Jap spec.

I have been trawling the Aussie websites for info on the J-top cos I can't find much else where.
