They are designe d to satnd a soaking with the roof down, hence no leccy windows, no central locking, no clock and rubber mats

You shouldn't have carpet - should all be rubber
It was in a very old Mitsubishi press release I had a translation of.

I have a lightweight military Landrover - that is basic - and weatherproof.
I was hoping for a little more with a Pajero.
Don't really want to drive anything in the rain with an open top.
I think they also did a 3.0L V6 Petrol engined J-top. How good are they in water?
I have some sort of rubber coated heavy duty type flooring that holds moisture in, like a sponge.

Mine's got a digital clock  Rubber flooring's great, very easy to clean. Bit noisy on the road so I added some sound proofing underneath. |

Someone like me probably fitted it before you bought it Bubbles !!
The seats aren't waterproof at all !
My roof has disintegrated ! I now have a tarp over it.
Booked in with trimming specialist to have new roof on the 12th !!
Can't wait

I thought seats would be waterproof too  Stuck some seat covers now. My roof's fine, side panels now have some scratches, although very noisy due to gap at front of the sunroof, put some pipe lagging around the front edge now. |

the seats are not water proof but the rest of the car is but if your going to get the inside wet what does it matter as youll be wet too
