We hope to be leaving at a sensible time and have a leisurely drive down - all depends on how new stereo fitting in Snoopy goes. Was supposed to be wired in all nice and straight forward today. I can do a few auto electrics - it ain't rocket science, but after much messing around, and tracing all logical steps it refused to work. Got CB working ok all wired into same electrical sources but no stereo Undecided

TT then came over to help, and after a phone call and trip back to retailer (yes Halfrauds Roll Eyes

) we thougth we had identified the problem of a bad earth. But sadly not! We had power, we had earth, but nothing on the stereo unit. CB still working. Eventually, after about 6 hours of all this nonsense we finally traced it to a faulty connector to the back of the head unit. Wasn't even my wiring in the first place! Angry

Upshot is, Tim is going to have a big row with Halfrauds in the morning and hopefully get new connector and get all working before we can leave for Devon. But if it carries on like this... see you on Sunday....!!!! Tongue

To much happening and Ive just had a shufty at the front end and she is in need of a set of Stabaliser bar bush's. Still shouldnt be a bad job with luck and a following wind. Off to scour the FAQ's on the subject before I ask Wink
