My "Total-offroad-toy"
« on: May 05, 2008, 01:58:09 PM »

OK, she's a mk1 swb Paj. 2.5 td manual.

Mods.....
I have fitted a lwb eng/man box into her, (she was auto)
I have wound up front torsion bars.
I i fitted lwb rear springs,
I have fitted a 2 in body lift
I have removed all the carpets
I have extended the axle breathers
I have fitted 33,12.50 bfg muds to rear and 33,10.50 bfg muds to the front
I removed rear bumper and cut off the mounts (including tow-bar)
I chopped the front bumper by the bump stops and cut away some arch to see the tyres
I lowered the rad 2 inch's for the body lift
I fitted an home made snorkel
I removed the front susp bump stops, and cut the rears in half
I had to shorten the rear prop because of the lwb g/box
I removed all the sound deadening from under the bonnet- eng bay
I had to weld a hole in the chasis Roll Eyes
I fitted the wooden st/wheel from my old lwb
I painted the recovery eyes Red.
I have made some sliders to protect the g/box
I plan on fitting a small fuel tank behind the rear seat
I think thats it  Undecided unless i have forgoten something  Grin Grin
