Mk1 roof rack and rear ladders

Hi i have a 1990 mark 1 lwb paj, i want to purchase a roof rack and ladder but on the sites i have looked it starts from 1991 model. would they still fit on the 1990 model or do they have to be ajusted? i dont want to purhase them and for them not to fit,  i would be grateful for any advice.
