front chrome bumper cap removal

How do i remove the chrome cap on my K plate pajero please? and do you think the metal is strong enough to fix some smallish (6") spots too ?

Remove the front bash plate, stick your head under and look up.

You will see (I think it's 5) small nuts that secure the finishing cap.

They will certainly support 4 x 5" plastic Microline spots quite securely.

I am sure though, i just saw one on e bay in the last few days if that helps
