Just heard from Sadie that Snoopy has overheated on the A3 and won't re-start

RAC are on the way as we speak bit looks like another bad friday  Cry

And the day before she leaves for two weeks in Spain too  Sad

Don't worry babe - will do all I can to help sort it while you are relaxing in the sun  Wink

Best thinking at the moment is that the bottom radiator hose let gp possibly due to perishing though it looked fine when the body lift was done as was one of the things I checked carefully. That would explain why the radiator was both empty and cold.

The crunch will be what happened next and how much heat built up in the head that has likely spat a chunk of the head gasket out which is why it will not re-start.

The good news is that it turns over.

Don't worry about things like power steering and 4WD lights failing when it happened as all those stop when the engine stops.

I know we have already discussed these but I'm repeating it for anyone else that ends up in the same situation.

First examination shows a large gash in the botom radiator hose.

Snoopy is being trailered to mine on Tuesday so will be able to tell you more after that.

All being well he'll be running again before Sadie gets back from her hols   Afro

As for me, well I get to ferk off to Spain for 2 weeks, but that's not cos of Snoopy. Me mummy lives there and I don't get to see her much, so this is quality mum and daughter time cos I miss her loads  Wink
