KYB replacement struts

is anyone runnting KYB replacement frot struts?

There is an unconfirmed roumer that the KYB replacement struts for the Pinin (iO) have the spring base mounted 20mm higher
i.e. we can run 20mm dia. larger rubber!!!

i'm having difficulty ascertaining this as most stores want me to pay for the struts before they are ordered...

just recieved photos through from shane (Dorfl at overlander forums) yes - the kyb replacement struts do have the sping plate mounted 20mm higher!

Tyres in the photos are Maxxis Trepadors 205R16 28.9inch diameter 737mm!! sure beats the 683mm standards that the pinin/iO came with!
