98' 3.0 v6 shogun lwb


winter lift

hello all, just been browsing a few topics and came across a question regarding a winter lift,one reply contained this pic, just looked at my shogun lwb gls 98 and it looks identical took a rough measurement ,around 1 1/2" gap ,couldnt be precise its peeing down,but now i'll get to my points,does my shoggy have a winter lift and could i fit 32" tyres as i mentioned in a previous post, thanks all.

i would say you have a winter lift, an shouldnt have any probs with 32'' , bet someone will be along with a similar lift Afro

thanks for the reply , ive just noticed also the front bumper doesnt fit flush with the body,it has a gap of an inch or so (its stiil pi**ing down)these measurements are rough, cheers.

just to add ,i was looking at fitting falken ats 32" ,on their web site it says the overall diameter of the 32"tyres is 802mm which is actually only 31 1/2", should i be alright with these as i really,really want bigger tyres,thanks again.

I would say yes you'll be fine with those. I had 31" Grizzly Claw MT's on mine with only the winter lift and the actual diameter of those is slightly bigger aswell  Afro

Got 32/11.50/15 on my swb and got bag's of room will be putting 33's on when i renew them. and thats with no lift at all

Yes - but for those that don't know, yours is a facelift model and they are taller as standard   Wink

This is true but so should a 98 be as they changed in late 97 Afro
