The front wheels flash when they want to, but also the center diff is also coming on (the lights are) and disappearing after 10 mins.
IS this down to the switch in the selector or something more sinister?
Thanks
Boyo

Take a look here mate http://www.pajerouk.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,16463.0.html Remember - the lights are driven by switches and ECU, the selector is driven by you moving the transfer lever, and the front actuator by vacuum system earthed by another switch. So if 4WD is actually working its very likely a switch / ECU connection problem or lack of vacuum. May well be a simple as a short in the dash as you have had that apart

why are the lights driven by the Engine Control Unit?
Surely they should be driven by the Transmission Control Unit?

ECU = Electronic Control Unit Covers a multitude of sins but in any case - it's not the transmission ECU they have a dedicated unit that just drives the lights - it's located under the radio btw
