here's a pic of the bit you need to look at if you have a winter lift. if your's is like the one in the pic you have winter lift if not and the body is sat on top of the chassis then your's is standard mate. Afro

Yeah, but you lose the buffer of the rubber bushes, just for an extra inch - I'd advise against that. Have you already got a 3" kit then? if not either get a 1" or 2" kit and leave the bushes in place. Wink

Nick

i am lead to belive that the winter pack has the outriggers welded higher (40mm)
mine has not go a winterpack here is a pic look at the outrigger mine is lower .
everyone has the rubber on the outrigger

is that what markyd has done: 2'' lift kit on top of the winter pack?

Right I have taken a piccy as mentioned......by sticking my head/camera in the front of the rear wheel and looking back (see below) Smiley

Also, I have seen the pic of MarkyD's and checked it against mine, I just have a rubber bung thing (about 1-1.5" high....I have put a red line thru the other metal bit as mine doesn't have that.

Does that mean I get lift mine? Smiley

the bit you have marked with an x on markyd's pic is the actual +2" bodylift block you get in the lift kit so will fit on top of your exhisting winterpack lift that you already have so get one ordered and get it fitted and we want to see pic's when it's done. Afro

Yes mate. You've got the factory 'winter pack' lift, but now you can go and lift it some more  Cheesy Grin Wink

I take it nothing has to be done to the gearbox, etc?
Do I just get one from here? http://www.pajerouk.co.uk/bodylift.htm

No Tim, if you stick to the 2" lift kit you shouldn't need to do anything to the transfer lever etc. The kit won't raise your bumpers however, although I did hear that there are brackets available for them too now. Tim'll know.

if your's is auto you may have to cut a very small piece of the centre console out behind the transfer lever so it come's back far enough to select 2wd without any problem's. Afro

Just to confuse you even more... I've got an auto and mine goes into 2WD ok with no mod. I could be wrong, but I think if you have the winter pack, you are less likely to need a mod..... Is that possible Shoggy?
