Topic: Weird help required for clutch assembly (Read 108 times)

Hi I have "inhereited" a 2.5td P reg shogun in bits (not too many) just finished fitting the new clutch but cannot work out the arrangement of the slave cylinder and release arm as my haynes manual does not give a picture of the finished assembly could anybody send me a pic or diagram of the set up? before terminal madness sets in cheers jjdm

Is this the standard clutch with the "non dual mass" fly wheel?

The flywheel is a single plate about 30-40 mm thick
The clutch slave cylinder seats on the back of the bell housing with 2 10mm bolts (I think ~ 14mm spanner required for them anyway) The slave's actuator rod faces rearwards to fit into the clutch release arm
I don't have a pic and can't take one as mine is off too at the moment

I have 3 types of hydraulic clutches listed so really need to know the year
I'll email you what I have tho

Hi Mudlark thanks for your help but its really down to where the slave cylinder and the clutch damper units actually fit as none of the diagrams I have seen show the clutch setup I have "just my luck" cheers jjdm
