Dales Laning Day

Yorkshire Dales laning day, stopping for a pub lunch and maybe a pint at the end for a bit of a natter/social.
first or second weekend in October if anybody is interested

I'd be interested, but I'd have to check your preferred date against my chemo cycles in order to be able to come along. I'd need some advance route details too in case I need to quit and get picked up, people'd need to know where to find me. 

If you can cope with my lame ass (I won't be a burden I promise  ) dragging along behind you, I'd love to come along. I'll even bring a pan of scouse.

Dam 2 weeks to late i'am in Yorkshire 14th to 26th

meeting in Hawes,the plan is to do all tarmac driving in convoy, splitting into small groups of 4 or 6 for the lanes.
First lane is HIGH CAM ROAD, then THE ROMAN ROAD, then STALING BUSK & STAKE ALLOTMENTS, which takes us into Bainbridge for lunch @ Rose & Crown, after lunch it`s on to do CRACKPOT,FREMINGTON EDGE,HOLGATE & HELWITH then into Grinton village for a well earned pint and a chinwag about the day. Then heading for home, Grinton is close to Richmond & Scotch Corner, A1 & A19

please be aware pete that most of these lanes are closed in the yorkshire dales as there is currently a court hearing in progress with lara trying to re-open them.

cheers, yes i heard about the 8 they closed, the route i`ve planned is on ones i`ve been assured are still open and OK to drive but i will double check closer to the date. Thanks for the warning though
