What do you think?
« on: January 26, 2006, 09:46:09 PM »

Most of you have some time to have a play on here, what do you think about the site?

not to bothered about content, as that will come with time as more people join and post techy questions.

Is there anything bugging you/or dont like?

Personally i think its a big improvement on the last site, a lot quicker, and apparently easily upgradeable.

if I could be totally honest (at risk of being banned Grin )

I dis-like the colour scheme.
It seems to make the sig pictures look odd/untidy against the backgrounds.

I'll get my coat.  Wink

The banner is in the pipeline, but we were keen to get the forum up and running as a matter of urgency to restore service, so yes it was a cobble.

The tech stuff in the old knowledge base will be working its way on here as soon as humanly possible, so keep watching for it.
As you can appreciate, starting from scratch on any new forum software takes a bit of acclimatising to by both members and admin.

Just a quick note: when you 'quote' a previous post, the 'quoted' text comes out tiny and hard to read...can this be adjusted, or am I just blind?

Best way round this is to adjust your text settings on your ie bar, go to view text settings and adjust from there. i know what you mean though. Wink

9 pages of new 'welcome' posts is a bit of a pain  Roll Eyes

Any way we can filter what we get in a new post search ?

How about putting the members location near the avtar like before so you can see at a glance where peeps are Huh Makes it a bit easier to offer help and helps in the for sale section. It also helps if you're a nosey sod like me and want to know where in the country people are Grin
