an excellent find.

does anyone know what the measurements from wheel to arch should be if no height raising has been done? people state heights you shouldnt go above, but one needs to know where to start from, after all, a previous owner may have already done some adjustment.

cheers tim, as you have guessed im a complete novice re mechanical work. i do want to bring up the bars a bit but have absoultly no idea where i am starting from.

Not quite as simple as wheel arch measurement

This is for front of car supported on axle stands.

nice one tim, so, if set to standard settings as above, do you know what the measurements should be when at the outside of increase of lift?

just measured at wheel arch and found the following - from top of wheel rim to wheel arch is 31.5cm on drivers side and 29.8 on passenger side, looks like i need to even it up as well as lift a bit.

You can go more than 30 but that runs the risk of wearing out CV joints and ball joints quickly.
