hi my mate treated himself to a new sat nav, i was jealous till i heard the horror story he had with it while driving i n scotland. he set his route and set off and all was going well till he started going up a hill and the sat nav told him to turn right and luck would have it he was alert because if he followed the instruction he would have drove off a 90ft ledge - frightning or what but thats not the end of it - the gps reprogrammed his route and 10 miles on it tried to get him to drive into a river which is deep enough and colod enough to ensure you wouldnt have much chance of surviving. has anyone else had these kind of experiences? chris

The press is full of stories like that asnd it gets worse as a lot of the systems share the same data.

I have not got Sat Nav. Every time I have been in a car with somebody who has, they just ignore the sat nav and go their own way. So I think I will stick with the map and post it note method
