i tried driving forward then reverse etc after selecting 4 hi but front wheel lights still flash although it seems to engage ok and cd light always flashes no matter wot im in .
driving me mad now cos if im in 2 wd high and push back on gearlever light goes out on cd.
wot do i do

im also getting a high pitched squeel when i reverse in 2wd but sounds almost like it would if i had airbrakes and had an air leak at a hose or letting the air out of a baloon through a small hole .
best way to describe the noise realy

disnae sound like your in 2wd your tried the lever in all positions?

cd light goes out when in 4 high but like i was saying earlier it also puts light out if i rest my hand on transfer lever while driving

i know it has contradicted wot i said earlier about cd light been on in all gears but now it just flashes in 2wd and some times goes out and behaves but not very often
