sounds great im all for lots of light but did you up rate your relays or wiring and wot is the maximum the headlight switch will take . hate to be a party pooper but that higher wattage ,something is going to give and its usually the headlight stalk that melts. best sticking to high wattage in spot lights and at least if they melt ya dont lose ya running lights, id rather sound like a kill joy now then watch you suffer the cost later

hope you dont think i was having a winge redpaj just thought id try make you aware of the potential issue with wiring fires ect as i also have melted switches . sales men say owt just to get a sale but when it turns to disaster like mine did they dont know wot ya talking about and dont want to foot the bill for the repair because they gave poor advise. do the headlamps give any dazzle. the rac had a big thing in one of the motoring mags about the newer type bulbs causing accidents . they were praised for the visibility they gave the driver but the poor sod who approaches you who has just come off a dark lane gets hit with them and while his eyes ajust to the light hes too late and already stacked it in to your pride and joy .oooops

im with dragon on this, i would be very suprised if the standard loom, relays or switch will stand up to it for long.

no mate disgarded the original loom and had them wired in via another relay by an auto sparks so they come on with the main beam on the headlights
