Running boost gauge hose through the bulkhead
« on: December 31, 2006, 01:57:18 PM »

Hi all,

Ive got me a shiny new boost gauge that is crying out to be fitted!
Im mounting it in the little recess just above the fuel cap release lever, the wiring in and the plumbing it in to the boost hose is easy. But hoe do i get the hose into the cab?Huh? Is there another hole already in the bulkhead somwhere (steering colum maybe?) because i havent got the guts to take black&decker and tring to work my way into thw footwell to force a drill through a lump of metal with me just inches away! Imite hurt the Paj!!!

If anyone has any info or pics that would be greatly aprecciated!!

Ta,
   Steve

if ya do end up drilling through use a cone cutter and make sure ya get the right size grommets to protect the pipe.
plenty of silicone sealer too dont wana have to swim round ya cab after first big puddle lol .
cereful with pilor drill tip on cone cutter they always snap so better to pilot with a 4mm first
