front discs????

i've got a mk2 93 paj on a k plate, I've just bought new front discs for it, the new disc i was given are for a mk1 87-91. they are the same as the ones that came off also the calipers and pads are also listed for the mk1 . is this common or have I just got an odd ball setup.

If you want a quick answer ring Millners - they know more than is healthy about paj discs and pads!
