this is something i started a few years ago now. got about 30-40 of em. most are over 100 years old. my collection starts with those bayonets that were the first ones to be fixed to the side of a rifle as opposed to plug bayonets. got some nice examples, particlarly a couple of lee metford ones, with a gladius shaped blade.
i do have a couple from the world wars too. nice ariska bayonet from wwII, complete garrand one with all bits working etc.
a few swords too, but not enough to count as a collection, but highlights are a victorian prison sword (incomplete), a bavarian nco's sword from the 1800's, a victorian volunteer sword from i think a linconshire regiment and a nice victorian lifeguards sword.

Had a Mauser K98 bayonet years back till I swapped it for really nice US marine K Bar combat knife. Think the only things I have now are me trusty old gollock, Fairbairn Sykes toothpick , a couple of replica Katanas used for Aikido demos, a kukhri and an M1 carbine ammo belt and bayonet. Oh and a special edition K Bar I won in a pistol match. Funny what you pick up over the years
