Hobbies... So many.
« on: January 24, 2007, 09:17:59 PM »

Where do I start. Considering where we are, better be the 4x4 thing. Had a long and not so illustrious thing for 4x4s. Started with a series 2 landie. Followed by a Daihatsu Fourtrak. SWB Paj and a Disco (Never - ever again) If it's muddy I wanna play in it.  Smiley

My other 4x4 is tucked up in the garage. That's never going to get muddy. http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?&autocom=registry&cmd=view_item&CID=319

My other main hobby is shooting, air rifles although I've recently had a go at Clays and quite fancy getting a Shottie. So maybe. Here's a couple of pics of my kit.

Other than that I'm a complete petrol/Diesel head and love getting my hands dirty.  Smiley

Jeez - Daystar know how to charge don't they ?   Shocked

I didn't pay that for my accurized HK G3 match rifle back in the day

Did for the scope though !  Wink

Had a pair of these as well - one in .308 and one in .243 fitted with identical stainless scopes

Those were nice  Cool

Yep unfortunately the days of Webley  & BSA's at £70 quid a throw are long gone.  Those two photos work out at about six weeks wages. And the missus wonders why I look after them better than her.  Cheesy
What is that shottie. I likes it..... I can see why you got looks at shoots.  Grin

Skeet barrel??? Did it have a fixed choke with it, would have been a very open pattern, bloomin dustbin lid in the sky but doesnt go that far! Did you do that yourself or did it come with it or did you shoot skeet mainly!?

It's very nice in a scare everyone to death sort of way......  But I've got my heart set on a Beretta 686 when I eventually get my backside in gear and apply for my SGC.  Smiley

It was tuned for practical shotgun which I kind of helped start off in the UK.

I had a 686 for clays and loved it but didn't like the waiting involved at local shoots  Roll Eyes
