Nope - its a SWB 3.5 GDI
It doesn't have the Mivec engine therefore 240 BHP not 280
Probably none of the lightening or strenghtening bits either - probably got torsion bars which would be a ded giveaway.
It may have been fitted with Recaro seats as a dealer option in Japan can't see the door cards etc
But those are not the same seats or trim as the real thing
No Evolution badges either
Would still be a nice car but shouldn't be confused with an Evo

Deffo - he really shouldn't be calling it an Evo at all If you find a pic of my engine bay and compare it with that you'll see the difference Think I'll go ask some questions   |

He claims it had a Mivecs engine fitted last August and that he has receipts ect proving that. He also claims... The 4x4 is running A1 and the engine has no knocks or bangs and is really clean as is the engine bay with nothing added or bodged up, it is as it left the factory..............  What I would say is this ... It probably does not have the Evo spec cooling systems for engine and gearbox, (certainly not the air scoop and vents), nor the Evo's stregthened transmission and transfer box, nor Evo brakes, nor coil sprung sports suspension that lets the Evo corner so fast. It's also a lot heavier than an Evo and lacks the stabilizing aerodynamics. I wouldn't touch it |

Had another reply ... cheers mate, thanks for the advice i have listed as a gdi and changed the stats so the winner will have a nice bonus.

Don't understand.... Why doesn't the picture show it then?? and why has he changed it to 240 BHP? and he says: "with nothing added or bodged up, it is as it left the factory" Hmmmm |
