anyone know how to get round the password protection on a laptop. the kids have all got accounts on it, but have all forgotten there passwords, in there wisdom they have removed me as an adminstrator, so cant log on  tried about a trillion combinations of passwords that they use, still no joy. if someone has a work around on this please could they pm me, as i know password overriding is not the done thing  thanks in advance

no mate, it just offers three accounts, none of which i know the p/w's for, kids eh?  no option to go back.

turn it on, press f12 i think (if not f10) then it should come up start in safe mode - it will boot up and you will go into administrator account, you can then change the account passwords etc!
