The other weekend my unit ran a part of the safety net for the South Pennine Challenge. I must say that my cadets made me really proud with the way they dealt with quite nasty weather conditions. They remained in good humour and worked hard to help some very weary and footsore walkers.

Quite a few of them asked me to thank the cadets once it was all over - things like this really make it worthwhile Smiley
