Password protection

anyone know how to get round the password protection on a laptop. the kids have all got accounts on it, but have all forgotten there passwords, in there wisdom they have removed me as an adminstrator, so cant log on Angry

tried about a trillion combinations of passwords that they use, still no joy.

if someone has a work around on this please could they pm me, as i know password overriding is not the done thing Wink

no mate, it just offers three accounts, none of which i know the p/w's for, kids eh? Roll Eyes no option to go back.

turn it on, press f12 i think (if not f10) then it should come up start in safe mode - it will boot up and you will go into administrator account, you can then change the account passwords etc!
