Hi,

Yes rang landline today. Again Tom answered the phone. Again I'm told he's left notes everywhere for Phil but cant force him to call me!

I've now put it to my solicitor.

It's a crying shame as he was so recomended. However £1000 plus is a lot of money to spend to have the wrong engine (Manual when auto ordered) delivered. The wrong radiator (which was damaged anyway, I think on removal when looking at the marks as you can see where the cooling fan was embedded in it), It was signed for unchecked and collapsed pallet. I have been told twice it has been sent with Parcelforce but no tracking number supplied. Totally, totally wrong in my opinion. He's totally blanking me trying to walk away from his error.

What worries me now is that if the engine is no good what chances do I have of getting a replacement from him! This has been going on over 5 weeks and I'm no closer to getting this motor running to check it! He didn't even supply areceipt (Although I have proof of payment to his account)

It will be interesting to see if he comes on the phone if anyone else rings him! Undecided

Sad really Angry

Very odd considering I spoke to him on the mobile number Saturday afternoon.

To be honest. I'm sure he's there. It's got to the stage where I have been ringing from various mobiles. When it's a different number he answers. When it's mine or witheld (I used to turn off caller id) Tom answers the phone.

I've been totally polite all the way through. From having the wrong parts to damaged rad etc (I can show the picture if required to prove it wasn't damaged in transit).

I'm just getting extremely fed up and feel that other people need to know (In fact 3 others have come forward since with similar problems) the "potential" problems they "could" encounter if he makes a mistake.

I'm even thinking of trading standards now. TBH

Well lots of people have been dealing with him for a few years now so I can only gather that communication has broken down - Phil doesn't go on the forums so can't say his side of the story here - just hope all gets sorted for you.

Well lots of people have been dealing with him for a few years now so I can only gather that communication has broken down - Phil doesn't go on the forums so can't say his side of the story here - just hope all gets sorted for you.

Believe me it's not something I relish and as I stated it was through this forum and the recomendations I used him.

It's a shame he doesn't use the forum as I would be very happy to hear his reasoning. I dont do shouting, swearing or whatever I just want the service and parts I paid for. Nothing would please me more than for him to say what happened and what he is doing to rectify the situation. I think 5 + weeks is long enough for anyone to remedy a problem.

My solicitor is now in receipt of all photo's proof of delivery and emails that he hasn't replied to. Even now I'm still hoping he will honour the original contract of sale.

I have now had to purchase my radiator elsewhere. Whilst I appreciate Phil is probably a friend of yours (I saw your bit about the websire) and I sincerely hoped that, maybe, someone could see what the problem is from his side. No reply from him, Refusing calls etc doesn't help a situation as I wont give up on this until I do get a response. It's a matter of principle now I'm afraid.

Sorry if this isn't pleasent reading for his friends and happy customers. If it's something I did to upset him then I'd love to know what it was / is. How many satisfied customers have had issues with wrong / damaged parts and were they rectified without issue? If so, again, I would love to know why he tells me on more than one occasion it's sorted when in fact nothing has been done.

Appreciate your feedback on this issue. As it does make me wonder why this hasn't been resolved

I have spoken to Phil this morning and without prejudice I would say there are 2 sides to any story and he is convinced he has done all that can be reasonably expected, has the proof of posting to prove it and doesn't want to get into a slanging match over one dissatisfied customer in 2 years.

I can only go from my own experience that has been excellent and say that I will deffo be buying from him again.

TinyTim,

He has proof of posting?
If this is the case why wont he give me a tracking number and why doesn't he return calls. Two sides to every story. Yes indeed there are.

I would love to hear his side and I am quite happy (If you are willing) to let me have his side in private.

Or. Could you get me the parcelforce tracking number? I am happy to say the engine has been received and a damaged rad. These are for a manual transmission not auto as ordered (By email in writing). If he has proof of posting for the bracket and the correct rad why will he not tell me so I can take it up with Parcelforce?
One dis satisfied customer in 2 years. Not dis satisfied more like dis gruntled.

I'm sure there are many satisfied people out there.

I'm pointing out a problem I've had when wrong parts are delivered.

As I've said previously. I would love to solve this amicably. If he has done as he says. Prove it and let me deal with the carrier to find out where the replacements are. If he cant provide proof of posting then draw your own conclusions.

I'm not looking for a fallout with anyone. I am merely showing the problems I have encountered with this supplier with a request if anyone can find out what the problem with sorting it is.

I didn't want to take it legal but it seems by the lack of replies etc I am now faced with no choice.

i don't blame you mate if i had spent a 1k plus and received below par goods i would be a tad unhappy!

ive had bits of phil when i had a paj, and i couldn't fault him....but that doesn't mean you not having problems!!!

to involve solicitors only incurs an additional cost...

to be honest i would be happy to become the go between as resolve this amicably...i dont own a paj any more i have no affiliation to the club anymore...only through interest...i would be happy to mediate between you to...and get an amicable solution to this issue???.....

the balls in your court mate ??
