Hi Jamie, I've got a 2001 2.0 5 door. Haven't really done anything to it other than cosmetic stuff like bonnet and headlight protectors and bits of leather inside (and of course some stickers). I might think about some tyres when the time comes, but it's primarily a road car with a little off road fun now and again. At the moment, I'm getting bang on 30 mpg (I let it run for a month and then reset it), my best ever reading was just short of 35 mpg that was on a weekend in the lakes (not literally IN the lakes of course - I'll leave that to Dragon ). I guess 30 - 33 is about my norm. I really like the Pinin, the only real downside is the lack of boot space. For that reason, I don't think I'd get another, but I am sold on Mitsus and will likely go for a Shoggy or a Paj next (in about 4 years).

when i got it, it did 31, then i drove it round at bou 29, then put big tires on, it's hard to get over 25 now, i found that no boot space, n no place to put map or stuff in front, i am going to ripe the back door panel of, make a checker plate box where it was, then put netting on it 4 ropes n fold up spade in, Jamie

Looks like a custom job. Might be a plan actually as my front guard is looking just a little bent already

Hi! Got an X reg, 3 door, 2.8 Gdi machine... Best Consumption read ever was just under 39mpg, on long runs it sits nicely, generally, between 35-37mpg, around 30 in town. It's superb off-road, as I'm sure you know. No modifications.
