Hi

I've got one!  2.0L Warrior, 53 reg.  Only come on this site every now and again so missed your post.  My mpg is around 24 off road and 28 on road (if I take it easy!).

It's great apart from ground clearance but the bloke at the Mitsi garage said it would cost about £40 for a replacement bash plate when I get it serviced, so if I get it changed once a year when it's mangled, I can live with that.  Have already had to have it "reshaped" after some very deep ruts off roading.

All I've done to it is put Colway AT tyres on it.  Have been to Cannock Chase off roading in it and Derbyshire green laning last weekend and it's a ittle star.  Love it.  And it's easy for other people to push when I get grounded!

Is that 4 of us now then?!

My apologies, engine size is of course 1,8, a typo - sorry to have caused confusion and unnecessary excitement.

It's good in one way that we will stand out from the rest but, bad in another, like when i need some help with parts and no1 else has use or need these parts. But i'l have to learn 4 myself. Jamie

The comment about parts is totally relevant - there no after-market parts, but only main dealer and they cost a lot. Had to replace my exhaust last summer. How much?? £400!! That's right - luckily I only paid half, as the car was still in dealer warranty.
Stiil, it's the best car I've owned... my only disappointment is the ground clearance issue - I mean, why would you fit a car with full 4WD that can handle anything, when you can't actually get there?

I guess there aren't enough of them about to sustain the aftermarket trade?

Spookily enough, when it came to my exhaust, I did get an aftermarket centre pipe but there wasn't a corresponding aftermarket back box.

I'm confused Sad

I know there is no ground clearance, I bought a jack that lift the veical very high, mainly for high veicals the ony thing is I can't even get it under this stupidly low car, I have bought a 40mm lift for it and still it'l be a problem, I had to by a midle slienser when I bottomed it lastime, that cost about 140 but i fitted it myu self saving on labour, I know the dealer as well so he gave me a bit of disscount on it. But i still think this is a great car, Having a lot of problems tho, the last 20miles I'v done it'ds just cut out as soon as I put the clutch in, Also 4x4 doesn't work now, and I just finished wireing my spotlights in, they have a seperat switch wierded into my accsesoriy line, and it works the only thing is when i turn my side and or main lights on they come on as well, I haven't a clue how the spot lights know if they aren't connected to my lights.
