very, very surprised to hear about problems - I have had none. Not one! Use it everyday, offroad now and then (drove it even through the ocean in Ireland), all works as new, including the 4WD (actually tested it all yestrday, after reading a 'use it or loose it' post here). It's done 41k miles, but I 've only had it for a year now.

Righty ho Jamie, im back!
At the mo our pinin is a bogo standard 53 plate 5 door 2.0 warrior in silver and black Not got massive plans for it this year but will do next year when she gets another mitsi to play in and i get to toy with this one, Not really "off roaded" him yet, but have buggered about in muddy fields, decent streams and the like, Living just around the corner from "Specialist Leisure" in Wigan im really lookin forward to making him bigger and harder
Am thinkin of putting an induction kit on it soon, but dont know whether to bother (usually home made affairs with tubing and big as possible pipercross filters, (any ideas people)
Anyhoo, ill get some pics taken this weekend after a marathon cleaning session and get um posted up asap!

I think you're too far away old lad. I live just outside Bradford (south) and can reach 4 or 5 miles at best. I normally sit on channel 19.

Actually, today I could hear people chatting at Junction 26 M62 from the top of the Pennines (about 12 miles). Never tried calling them though.

I think i bided on the wheels too. The standard bull bar attaches in a real odd place, you haveto take the grills out in the bumper, and then it goes around the skidplate. Well soundlike you'l soon be on your way through the woods. The waffle boards you have, how many times have you used them, do you think hey are worth while geting some. I could have before but didn't for some reason.
I think thats 5 Pinins now. Jamie

I use these waffle boards maybe 2 to 3 times a week with a company defender td5 these are my own they are 1400x400 x58 mm plastic the one's the company suplied were stainless steel heavy as xxxx they are a great asset dont forget to tie some rope has the can be quite a handfull to extract. I work mostly in Wales but live in Shropshire. So off roading for me is on a daily bases i have been on all the landrover training days not experince days. If you ever get chance to go one go they are fantastic and really teach you what the capabilities of any 4x4 including some car darvatives.
