Ok the mod for the fog lamps is as shown in the picture......... Basically you need to find the power side on the top bulb holder, once done cut this wire and put in a 'one way diode' in the wire so that the electric current can go to the buld still, then with the power wire you have from the rear fog lamp solder on to the top side of the diode ( has to be this side ). Do the same to both sides of the motor and there you have it..... still four break lights but you can over ride the top 2 lights for the fogs.......... 'one way diodes' available from MAPLINS CLICK HEREClick on picture for BIG version...

works a treat, but i'm thinking of putting a diode in the wiring for the brake light cos i'm getting a bit fed up with the light on the fog light switch coming on!!!!

Hello there, I'm not too clear here.. Is this a mod for a UK shogun fog light? I really want the lights on my wing (as in your pic) to become working brake lights and normal lights. What the heck are these moody little lights in my bumper all about, leaving those nice juicy ones on the wing under used? Any help really appreciated. Got little kids in the shogun and no bugger can see me from behind when I brake, especially now as I smashed one light backing into some poor geezer in his van.. Cheers, Dean

The mod is for a Pajero not a shogun, the lights are in the bumper on a shogun coz for some reason the law says you must be able to see the rear lights from any direction at the back, the spare wheel gets in the way, so they are in the bumper!!

Oohhhh..seen. that explains their strange placing. I wonder Steve, assuming I'm able to source some Paj. inners, would it be a difficult task or even possible for that matter, to some how have the paj.wing lights running as brake lights and normal lights, along with the existing ones also in the bumpers? Cheers for any knowledge and feedback. Dean

Should be easy enough to wire both But you'll probably find that doing away with the bumper ones altogether is illegal
