All 3 of my sockets packed up working after plugging an inverter in, all worked for a while then stopped.

If you get the socket out there is a very short piece of wire on the back of it from the centre terminal to the spade that the power wire plugs onto - assuming fuses are ok,good chance this fusable wire has burnt out.  I took the insulating washer out to bypass the fuseable wire which in fairness is probably there for a reason so I limit myself to low power stuff and have since put a direct feed from the battery to a seperate socket for running high power stuff via an inverter.

without meaning to be insulting - have you checked the connectors under the cig lighters themselves - the one on the rear shelf if nice and easy to get to - positive is white (pinkish cable) and earth black?

the wires do connect ok just the wiries have no power at all, I traced the wire back to front footwell and it dont go into the fuse box it connects to a plug at the top of the fusebox holder I can imagine it goes to the fusebox under the bonnet???
