gearbox and rear diff temp
« on: April 12, 2007, 01:41:48 AM »

hi guys well its been ages since ive been here so firstly a big hi to everyone.
im sort of in the process of doing some mods on my paj and need a rough idea as to the operating temperatures of the manual gearbox oil and the rear diff oil.

i dont really want to buy a gauge that starts off at 50 degrees when the oil is actually operating at 20....! if you see what i mean.

im planning to get some temp senders sorted so i can have 3 gauges in the car.
1 for the engine oil
1 for the gearbox oil
and 1 maybe for the rear diff.

so if anyone has a rough idea as to what sort of temperature the gearbox and rear diff oh and the engine oil operate at that would be great...... Smiley
cheers
