2004 shogun sport warrior, manual

HI there could anyone help i have just purchased 2004 shogun sport warrior,not testing the radio when i bought it relised when i got home that it was not finding stations due to ariel not coming up ive had the ariel unit off the car and it looks fine then i tried the head unit there was a blue wire on the left hand side (as your looking from the back of unit) not connected but looked like it had been scotch locked to another wire as it had the markings on is this the problem or not Sad. there is a button on the centre arm rest witch as something to do with ariel could that be the problem. a wiring diagram would be great if anyone can help
