Valve Clearances - 2.5 TD
« on: June 22, 2007, 04:16:23 PM »

An extract from the factory manual for the 4D56T engine (1991 to 1993).

Bear in mind this should be done with a hot engine. If its done with the engine out, run the engine when re-fitted, then re-check when hot.

Note - althought this is an extract from a Mitsubishi manual I have since been advised that the correct clearance is 0.25 mm NOT 0.15 as stated.

I have checked this with a later manual and this specifies 0.25 mm for the 4D56 2.5 engine
